Sylvie's Love is a beautiful and romantic story, told to us through the eyes of Sylvie and Robert, two star-crossed lovers who keep missing each other. Think THE WAY WE WERE meets MAHOGANY meets THE NOTEBOOK with all the glamour of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S.
The theme of unfinished business with your one true love is universal, and as such, the story appeals to people across racial backgrounds and across the world.
Set in New York City in the late 1950's/early 1960's, Sylvie and Robert meet when Robert, an aspiring saxophonist, takes a job at Sylvie's father's record store. The two fall fast and hard in love with each other that summer. After their summer romance ends, the two won't reconnect until 1962, and Robert is now a successful musician, and Sylvie is married with a child, but we soon find that their feelings for each other have never disappeared.
